Funding Opportunity · 2026

This is what
$600,000
builds.

The curriculum is written. The tools are built. It meets and exceeds personal finance education standards in all 50 states, with California's AB 2927 mandate as the clearest, most immediate example of the need becoming law. What's missing is the software layer that turns a finished curriculum into a fully deployed, testable program, available to every school in the country.

The Mandate

The mandate is spreading. The curriculum already exists.

California's AB 2927 requires every public high school to offer a personal finance course by 2027, with a graduation requirement following in 2030. Similar mandates are spreading nationwide. Every state needs a curriculum that's actually ready.

The content is complete. Funding activates the platform.

2027
Every California public high school must offer a personal finance course. AB 2927 is law, and it's the clearest example of a trend spreading nationwide.
2030
In California, personal finance becomes a graduation requirement in 2030. The national trend is moving the same direction. No exceptions.
Now
The window to build, pilot, and deploy is open. Funding today means a tested, proven program ready when the mandate hits.
What Exists Today

This isn't a pitch deck.
It's a finished curriculum.

The Crescara//Project is not seeking funding to write content.

The content is ready.

Funding builds the software layer that deploys it.

3
Complete curriculum units
27 core chapters, up to 36 depending on your state. Budgeting, banking, negotiating, insurance, credit, investing, real estate. Written, designed, and ready to deploy.
1st
Interactive Consequence Engine
Students manipulate real financial decisions and watch consequences play out in real time. Students see the direct financial consequences of every decision they make, in real time, before those decisions cost them anything.
5
Brokerage simulations
Real brokerage platform simulations, built and functional. Students practice investing decisions in realistic environments before real money is ever involved.
The founder holds a Master's in Financial Management.
This curriculum was built by someone who has lived financial hardship, studied the solution academically, and designed every lesson from both ends of that experience. This is not a textbook written by committee. It's a curriculum built with purpose.
The Investment

$600,000 · 18-month build

Every dollar is accounted for. Here's exactly what it builds:

Phase 1
The ARC Life Dashboard
A personalized financial life dashboard that tracks a student's trajectory from age 28 to retirement. Completed across every age point and integrated with the full curriculum.
Phase 2
The Marketplace
A full financial life simulation where students get a job, negotiate salary, build a real budget, buy insurance, invest, and navigate every major money decision, making mistakes now so they don't make them later. Every task from the curriculum, done for real inside a consequence-driven environment.
Phase 3
Platform Infrastructure
Multi-user, persistent platform hosting. Student progress tracked across sessions, teachers have dashboards, administrators have reporting. Built to scale from a single school to a district to a state.
The Outcome
A fully deployed program, ready to scale to every state that needs it.
At the end of 18 months: a tested, live, multi-user platform. A piloted curriculum with real students. A program positioned to meet every state's legal requirement, starting with California, and scale nationally.
The Landscape

What else exists. And what it's missing.

Schools nationwide currently get financial education support through a patchwork: state curriculum guides that outline standards but aren't a teachable course, free digital modules built to supplement a course rather than be one, resource libraries that teachers still have to assemble into lesson plans themselves, and one-day simulations.

None of these hand a district a finished, sequenced, ready-to-teach course. The Crescara//Project does.

IQC Guide
State standards outline. Not a teachable course. Teachers still have to build the curriculum themselves.
EverFi
Free digital modules built to supplement a course, not be one. Designed for compliance, not comprehension.
NGPF / CCEE
Resource libraries. Teachers still have to assemble lesson plans. No sequencing, no system, no accountability.
JA Finance Park
A one-day simulation. Memorable, but not a curriculum. Students leave having had an experience, not an education.
The Crescara//Project
3 complete units. 27 core chapters, plus an Economics companion where a state requires it. Working interactive learning tools. Ready to deploy before a single district has to design a syllabus.
Impact Projections

From one classroom to a state mandate.

150
Year 1 · Pilot
Students across 3 classrooms in 1 pilot high school. The full senior year course delivered start to finish. Pre and post assessment data collected to measure knowledge gain.
750
Year 2 · Expansion
Students across 5 schools adopt the course. First senior year simulation pilots as an elective for returning students who completed the senior year course.
3,000
Year 3 · Scale
Students across 15 school districts. Course fully adopted. A proven program ready when any state's mandate requires it.

The Founder

Built from the inside out.

The Crescara//Project exists because I lived the exact cycle it's built to break. Nobody handed me a manual for money, and I spent years learning the hard way what this curriculum now teaches in full.

I went on to earn a Master's in Financial Management , not to distance myself from where I started, but so I could go back and build the thing I needed at sixteen.

This isn't a curriculum built by someone studying poverty from the outside. It's built by someone who knows exactly what it costs when nobody teaches you this early enough.
